Introducing the 2015 Membership Committee

2015 membership committee chairs 2THE TVCC IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE 2015 MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE GALS!

Committee Chair – Robin Johnson, Law Office of Robin Johnson

Networking Chair – Luanne Jobgen, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley
Luanne first became involved in the Temecula Chamber 10 years ago with another company. She then joined the Ambassador team approximately 6 years ago with Habitat for Humanity.

We asked Luanne a few questions and this is what she said…
1) What is your favorite memory while being a member of the Chamber? “I would probably have to say getting an award at the Gala (2009 Ambassador of the Year) and meeting wonderful people.”
2) How has being involved at a greater level (Ambassador/attending meetings/events), helped benefit your business?  “This has been a great way to introduce people to Habitat 4 Humanity and to let them know that we are here in our own community; being able to make people more aware of the need for our organization in our community.  Also getting to know people on a more personal level versus just acknowledging them with a simple hello…”

Ambassador Chair – Liza Vega-Tallman, Novell & Novell Counseling Services
Liza has been an member of the Temecula Chamber and Ambassador since 2013.
We asked Liza a few questions and here is what she said…
1) Why do you want/like to be involved & sit on a committee as a chair?  “I think being involved and participating in as many – events, committees, etc. has helped me in my business/position.  I have met many professionals and have been introduced to their businesses.  By participating and being involved, I am able to do my job by educating others about my office and provide them with information about our providers as well as the services we provide.”
2) What is your favorite memory so far about being a member of the TVCC?
“Attending my first event after joining the Chamber. Crazy, but true and here is why:  It was at a Coffee Connection.  I had no idea what I should do, how to meet people, etc. and then Tom Somers came up to me.  He introduced himself as an Ambassador, took me around and introduced me to other members.  He was great!  I met so many people and we laughed the entire time.  It was at that very moment I knew I wanted to be an Ambassador .  I wanted to help others like me on that very first day.”
