Lacey Book, D.C., Owner, The Specific Chiropractic Center
Dr. Lacey Book graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West. She has done extensive training in Knee-chest Upper Cervical work throughout her chiropractic career. Upon graduation, Dr. Book took over The Specific Chiropractic Center in Dublin. Her and her husband are now the owners of a chiropractic franchise that operates 20 clinics worldwide and 30 Chiropractors in their system. She is a highly sought as a speaker, making numerous international appearances each year. Throughout her career she has become passionate about helping women business entrepreneurs achieve success through systems and strategies and does this through her coaching company, Black Diamond Consulting.
Rachel A. Mason, M.S., MA., Executive Director, Foundation for Senior Care
Rachel A. Mason, M.S., M.A. received her Bachelor’s degree a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. She also completed a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology, from Loma Linda University along with being certified in Biomedical and Clinical Ethics, and earning a certificate for Professional Advancement in Philanthropy from La Sierra University, The Center for Philanthropy. Over the past 15 years, she has worked with several nonprofit agencies in the region, serving in almost every capacity from positions in executive leadership, business and fund development, and as a volunteer.
Beth McVey, DNP, ACNP, ENP, Advanced Practice Collaborative Leader, Emergent Medical Associates
Dr. McVey is board certified as an acute care and emergency nurse practitioner with over 25 years of professional nursing experience. She has a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, Master of Science from UCLA, and a Clinical Doctorate from Duke University. Dr. McVey is a recipient of the Mary Camishion-Malone Humanitarian Award and is a passionate advocate for women’s health issues. She has spent many years educating on topics such as heart health, stroke prevention, breast cancer awareness, diabetes prevention and nutrition.
Donna San Miguel, Interim Associate Dean, Extended Learning California State University San Marcos at Temecula
As associate dean, Donna San Miguel takes the leadership role in program management and development and she is responsible for building community partnerships and overseeing operations at the university’s two satellite campuses in Temecula. She joined the CSUSM team in 2006 as a Financial Aid Advisor where she helped educate students and parents on financial aid opportunities. Her passion has always been to connect students with opportunities and resources to be successful. Donna has served as the Education Chair for the Valley Young Professionals for the past year and was appointed to the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
