TEMECULA VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ENCOURAGES THE COMMUNITY TO SHOP SMALL ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2019
TEMECULA, CA – The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) encourages the community to support local small businesses on Saturday, November 30, 2019. The TVCC recognizes small businesses as independently owned and operated stores, within the local community, who have up to 25 employees.
Small Business Saturday was created by American Express in 2010, in the midst of the recession, to encourage people across the country to support small, local businesses, by infusing money back into local economies. This day celebrates the important role of small businesses in the economy and is recognized as an annual event that takes place nationwide on the Saturday following Thanksgiving – one of the busiest shopping days of the year!
“Shop Small Saturday is an event that honors the hard work, service, creativity and quality products of our local artisans, creatives, & entrepreneurs. Temecula Valley is home to hundreds of small boutiques and #shopsmall service providers. In a day & age where it’s convenient to shop online or visit a big box store, we highly encourage you to dedicate November 30th to #shopsmall and #shoplocal. Make it a family affair, use it to get into the holiday spirit; thank a local entrepreneur with your patronage.” -Emily Falappino, President/CEO, Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce
